Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin		Shoreline Sports is pleased to announce the Ice Canaba Walleye and Pike Tournament on Little Bay De Noc February 17th, 2007. This is Michigan's free fishing weekend, so you will not need a Michigan license. Fishing boundaries will be selected by the 7th, and depend on the ice conditions out on the Bay.

First place takes home $5000.00 based on a field of 100 teams. Second place will be $1500.00, third $600, and fourth through 14th $100.00. As the field climbs past the 100 team mark, payouts will rise from second place to 25th place, again based upon the number of teams registered. Payouts will be adjusted to field size!

Shoreline will be giving away door prizes at the awards ceremony the evening of the 17th. A list of door prizes will be added soon.

Entry is $100.00 per 2 man teams. Tournament Rules will be emailed to you upon request!

Print out this entry form and mail it in, or call Shoreline Sports for registration at 906-233-0397. See you up on the BAY!! Watch this thread for more details...

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin		This will be a very good time. IcefishingFIRST is covering the event, and will have a get-together after the event and fish Sunday if anyone wishes to stay over for a day.

If you have the weekend open send in the $100 and join us! Great door prizes, a bit of cash for the winner, and ice fishing on one of the premier Walleye and Pike waters in the world. See you there!

"COLD, COLD AND MORE GOOD ICE!"
Bottom line is these past days and arctic below zero weather is putting some solid ice on the Bay.
Doing a visual yesterday late afternoon from the north end of Bay throughout and south of Gladstone Beach/Harbor areas seeing numbers of trucks, cars and the normal ATV's and sleds.
Ice thickness varying from 8" now to over 12" in places.

Due to the coldness hearing minimal reports on the bite but walleye, perch and pike action is OK.
I've not been on the ice in several days but heading out this afternoon again.
Best baits; the Raps, spoons and sets.
Morning temps. this morning at a -12' below and winds.
Keep in touch and seeing a let-up in the weather by weeks end.
