Posts: 14 Location: Green Bay | That information is correct, you just fill out a short survey and pay them $7 for shipping, which I think is a little much for shipping.

Posts: 476 Location: WI | The video is $1.20 each and the shipping/handlling is $5.75. I'll pay it to see a fish that size. You can get multiple copies at $1.20 each and the shipping/handling is still $5.95. I bought a couple extra for some buddies. gotOne

Posts: 281 Location: Girdwood, Alaska | Reelwise: I believe Bob M had the world record release for a while, but i'm not positive about that. I think it was 56" and it was caught back in the 80's. Maybe someone else knows for sure.

the fish that was shown at the end of his presentation at the '07 Chicago show is the same fish that he was showing at the end of his '06 presentations, so you may have seen it already. very very big fish, and worth seeing again, but it's not "new" video by any means. imho, the "world record" talk is doing exactly what it's intended to do: get your attention on behalf of his sponsored products. despite his 2 minute rant on stage in Chicago against all things muskie internet related, Bob is clearly a savvy businessman who knows how to get the word out. i don't think it's possible in any way to estimate whether a fish is a world record or not when it wasn't actually caught.

Posts: 70 Location: Mapleton,IL | I thought the big fish he lost was on his new video musky matrix, but not a hundred percent. All i know is that it was huge it made a giant jackpot look like a baby zara spook. MONSTER FISH i will have the new video just to drool over that hog!

Posts: 136 | Yes the DVD is worth watching. It's about an hour of follows, blow ups and fish that get off. The last clip is of the fish in question. After serious analysis they believe the fish would have been the new world record but it throws his jackpot. I agree. I have talked with Bob and the other guy who was in the boat when they lost the fish. They say the fish was between 62-64 inches and 36 inches of girth. Run the calculations. The cool thing is they found an even bigger fish in that water.

so now we're able to estimate GIRTH by eye-balling a video of a fish that wasn't caught? the fish is huge, but that kind of precision is one of the most ridiculous things i've ever heard.
