Anyone here use the jitterbug style topwater baits? What are your favorites and why? When do you use them? I'm considering a Hoosier Rattling Jittershad in either 7" or 9". Any comments?
Thanks,

Location: Eden Prairie & Pine Island | I boated two very nice fish on a regular Jitterbug style bait of my own making last season and really love these lures. Was a 6" bait similar to the Abrogast model only made of wood with a really sweet ploop ploop ploop sound to it. They are a great alternative to a creeper in calm conditions and after dark if you find one that works well. I am making some more for sale this season and will put them on my website later when they are finsihed. Also making a 12 incher that is jointed! |

Thanks for the reply. I'd be interested in seeing some photos of your jitterbaits. I didn't see them on your website.

Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | I like River Run's various models; Skipjack, Propjack, and Hammer Head. My favorite is the Skipjack, it can be worked at virtually any speed and has brought some nice fish to the net. |
