Posts: 427 Location: Wausau | I would find it helpful if there was a handout with each vendor's speciality or show deal. It would allow others to learn more about the sales and where to find certain products/deals.

Posts: 341 Location: In the slop! | Did anyone hear what happened to Gord? I asked the promoter, he said they couldn't contact him, didn't know if he was dead or alive. I hope he is allright, he is one of the best minds in our sport.

Posts: 485 Location: On my favorite lake! | The crowd on Sunday was light. 180 people watched the pool demo @ 11. I had been previous years and it was actually nice because you could actually talk to people without being knocked into.

Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | I thought the show was good.....I think they need to look at getting a bigger venue though. The hallway stuff seemed way to cluttered and cramped and it was hard to stop by those booths. Overall a well done show though.

Posts: 135 | I have attended at least 6 antique tackle shows plus other regular sportsman's shows a year, for the last 26 years. I drove from NE Ohio , Friday, for the show, 400 miles. The show was OK, in my opinion, not great. I was hoping for more home made, low scale makers. The kind of stuff you do not see in stores and catalogs, there was some, but... I DID ENJOY the show, but, the entrance and cattle herding, was bush league. I did not expect that. Whoever was in charge of the the fundamental requirement of getting people into the show to spend their $$$ quickly, could have done a better job. John

Posts: 32926 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Only so many doors in the facility. Keep in mind by standards set by larger shows, the Tri Esox is not a big show. It's crowded because it's in a smaller facility, which I like, actually. If the facility was twice the size, there would be people complaining about a smaller crowd than usual. The booth space there is sold out every year. There were a BUNCH of smaller builders there, but basement style builders that do custom build won't be in a show of that caliber much because the booth cost is pretty high. Good show, plain and simple.

Posts: 126 | It was a good show. They need to get a bigger place to have it, as Saturday was stupid crowded. Lot of great people and a really good time. Can't wait to get back next year.
