Location: michigan | Im looking to hopefully trade for a Nintendo Wii system for my kids for Christmas. I know there out their just hard to get. So maybe someone can help. Not only will you get what you see, but I also will make four custom made, or paint your favorite lure for you. The custom work will have to be by spring, Im busy getting inventory for the Ohio Musky Show. The lures I call Fakebaits are hot and going real fast. I plan on posting this on ebay as well in a few days so If interested let me know quickly.

Location: michigan | Those are my custom made crankbaits, from the basement. Some of the older baits have worked awesome on fish, in St Clair.
So far my personal best is a 48 inch pig on a 8" crankbait that has an awesome action. I hope to have a web site soon, plus I will be at the Ohio Musky Show with White Caps tackle.

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | Hi there, I just wanted to clear something up if I may. The realistic Bass finishes are print outs coated in epoxy and not actuallyhand painted correct? As a guy who puts many hours into hand painting a lifelike appearance on my baits, I hope that you are not misrepresenting them for what they are.

Location: michigan | Yes they are a faux finish (picture) with paint blended in to smooth things out. I saw your baits before. truely you are an artist at painting. Although the bait I saw was like 2" thick and weighed alot. Which is fine, im sure you have your reasons. I myself couldn't imagine casting your musky snax for more then a half hour before my arm falls off. I also airbrush, but been enjoying, and have had alot of people in my neck of the woods like the faux finish. So don't fret dude, Im not trying to pawn these faux lures as airbrushed.

The value for a lot of guys who buy basement baits is the time and artistry put into it. That's the only reason I wanted to make sure that folks know the difference.
As for the bait of mine that you saw, that was an older model which was quite thicker and heavier than the ones I make now. All my gliders are now 1" thick and are comparable in weight to most every other glide bait of the same size.
Keep up the excellent work and I hope you didn't take what I said the wrong way. Your baits most definitely look incredible! |

Location: michigan | The 8 inch, 10 inch, and 6 inch are all made out of western red cedar. It seem to last longer after a big toothy chews through the epoxy top coat.
