Posts: 141 | Does anyone know which bait is the biggest seller of all time? I dont mean type as in Bucktail etc, I mean specific as in Bulldawg or Super Shad Rap. Bulldawg would be my guess by the way.

Posts: 551 Location: Columbus, Georgia | based upon the number of years the baits have been sold, I would say Mepps spinners.

Posts: 16 | I think I read somewhere Rapala had made their billionth lure a few years ago. I would say a spinner Mepps type would be the biggest seller. We have made almost 1 million Devon Minnows and at least 200,000 Flying C baits (Salmon baits) in the last 25 years and we're a pretty small company. Posts: 2515 Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | If you're looking for best selling crank baits, I'd say Creek Chubs and Hedon Vamps would be up there with Suicks. Another food for thought is Bucher Shallow Raiders, Depth Raiders and especially Top Raiders. Even though Bucher products haven't been out as long as Suicks, they have to be up there in all time sales.

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I think it would be tough to beat the sales Sheldon's have had with their bucktails. There have probably been more muskies caught on a black and silver Musky Killer than I have and will ever see in my life. Suicks have to rank way up there too. These two baits have been mainstays in anglers boxes for the last several decades. Both are made in my hometown too!!!!

Posts: 172 | probably mepps or suick right now... but eventually it will be the bulldawg for 2 main reasons: #1. They are effective and just about everyone owns or will own some. #2. They don't last forever.
