Random quote: Muskies are nasty. They stink. They taste bad. They are hard to catch and will disappoint even the most devoted angler. The lures required cost more than some women's jewelry. The rods and reels require a remortgage of the house. The boat is always worth more than the tow vehicle. Sure beats the hell out of golf.

Not to advertise for eBay but, has anyone seen these before? Just curious as I have never seen a mold made for a big lure like this. At least the way I read his ad the body is plastic. Just curious.

Must have about a 12 inch body, lips got to be close to 4 inches.

The body of the bait is about 10-11", with about a 14" overall length (with the lip). The maker is a great guy from Quebec... I traded a few custom bucktails for one of these baits earlier this year. I don't troll much, but I did run it a couple of times on a short line and I really loved the wide wobble on the shallow setting. He does a really nice job on his paint jobs as well. The deep setting REALLY thumps hard and goes very deep. I'd imagine that setting would be awesome in the fall. If anyone needs Dan's email address (the maker), I can dig it up for you.

Here's a picture of the one I have:

I did a trade with Dan for one of these lures. They work decent, well constructed, jury is still out on the top coat. They are plastic.
