Location: Litchfield MN | My CV-Z has some issues whit the drag it dosen't tighten down enough anymore and its not smooth at all. It whuld not be a problem fixing it my self but opening the reel recuires a very special/specific tool that you cant buy (i think). So i whas wonderin where you can send it for repair that wont take 6months.
Thanks
Niklas

if you use a very small straight screwdriver, there are small slotted imbedded screw i think only two of them, loosen them and you will be able to access the guts of your reel.

| Send it to Chuck Brod. He is a guru in the musky reel service/repair industry. I have a cvz that he worked on a few times to address an anti reverse problem....Daiwa is actually swapping it out for a luna for me.
Here's chuck's link....
