As an avid bass fisherman,to locate fish I read the water, landscape, structure,as well as known hotspots. How can I relate not only the habits of muskie, but also my knowledge of bassing to Esox hunting?

Dobber,

Don't lip a muskie - it will hurt and you will get bloody.

Don't jerk a muskie into the boat with your rod. It will lead to broken line, rods, leaders, etc.... and result in lost fish.

LOL - I couldn't resist.

Seriously, some of the best musky anglers in the world were avid bass fisherman. Your knowledge of reading the lake and its surroundings will help you be successful in muskie fishing.
