Since Steve is too shy to self promote, I will do the job for him.

Shady tails will be available in the adjoining booth to MuskieFIRST at the Minnesota Muskie Expo!!

Violent Strike has built a 3 Spinnerbait kit for every water condition out there. The special Muskie Spinnerbait kits will be selling in the same booth first come first serve at $15 a kit, $6 off the standard show price.

MuskieFIRST will have hats and T shirts there, too. Hats for $15, shirts for $10.

See you there...stop by the booth and sign up for a FREE Violent Strike or Shady Tail...details in another thread soon!

Got mine last week. First impression:

Excellent quality. Good heavy wire shafts that were
straight out of the package. I have found several others that were bent this over this last year. Good weight to them and should run down a little deeper than most. I like the triple split rings already on. Pet peave of mine is
bucktails that don't come with split rings. I like the glow bead and I really like the heavy blade. It should give off a real good thump. Can't wait to start using them.

Bad things: My poor attempt at copying a perch color
pattern. Damn thing looks reeeaaally ugly. U-G-L-Y it ain't got no alibi....it's UGLY!!!

It'll probably end up being my hottest bait this year
so I ain't getting rid of it.

Looks very good so far Steve. Keep up the good work.

Scott

Hey Steve and Matt,

If I had known that they would be mailed from Hugo instead of Maple Grove, I would have stopped by on my way home from work. I got mine on Saturday, and I am just waiting for open water, and I can start to throw them in Minnesota on May 11th. They will work for Northerns [;)] also.

I will let you know how they do.

Got my "Shady's" last night. They look great! Can't wait to give them a try. I may have to give them a whirl at the Cave later this month. I really like the idea of a heavier and well built bucktail. Built like a tank! Now I will just have to see how they hold up to a musky! Great job Matt and Steve!! []
