Can anyone recommend a source (mail order or in the twin cities area) for 6 ga stranded wire? I'm re-wiring my trolling motor and don't particularly want to pay $1.39 per foot at Cabela's. That said, I don't want 100 feet of the stuff, either. 20 feet would probably do it. Anyone found a good source for small quantities at reasonable prices? Also, 6 ga connectors can be hard to find and if you have a source for those I'd appreciate a recommendation. Thanks!

Find an electrical distributor, such as Graybar, WESCO. I believe there is one named Border States up in the twin cities, Ask for 6 ga. THHN. They should stock black and red. You may pay up to $1.00/foot. Copper went up sky high in the past year.

Location: St. Croix River, Mille Lacs, | good point shep I went to get a role of 12-2 romex today and it was $$75.00!!! Holy Smokes!!! I do not use but connectos with my THHN though everything is sodered and heat shrinked pretty fail safe on the rough puddles I fish. Viking electric is another good source but I think you need to be"affiliated" with a company. |

I got some from home depot. I don't remember hoe much it was per foot but I know it was cheap.

Where are you located? I used to work in the wire industry. I should be able to tell who is in your area.
