When I use the thrust on my Minn Kota 80# Power Drive w/ US there is a constant beep about every second. It is not the sonar unit b/c it still makes the beep when the unit is off - just when I use the thurst - any suggestions?

Mine does that too but it's a softer beep - not something I would notice if I wasn't up front but I know exactly what you're talking about. I've replaced the board twice and it still does this but I can't tell if the beeping is electronic or if it is caused by friction somewhere. Mine is a55 lb thrust.

Do you have a co-pilot? If so that is one of the settings on it. To change to different setting you need to hold both the + and - at the same time, I think that is how to change.

Thank you -I'll try it.
I assume you mean the + (faster) and - (slower) on the hand held controller.
