Subject: Question About Lure Weight.

How heavy is too heavy for a Glider? I have been tinkering around with some 6 and 7 inch, 5 to 7 ounce gliders that get down in a hurry. I have requests from guys that want them that heavy especially in choppy water. Also had interest in heavier baits from some Striper and Saltwater guys on the East coast.

The few protos that I have made get down real quick.

I can see the extra weight on a larger bait such as 11 or 12 inches but on a 5 to 7 inch bait?

Let me know what you guys think.

SM
