I thought I would share a photo of my kid and me out in the boat for the first time ever on LOTW.... he did great and gave my wife and I a good four hours of fishing before we had to go in and get him to bed...... Better than any musky I ever caught....... He did happen to look over the edge of the boat when I told my wife I had a chaser, he responded with slapping on the top of the boat and spooked the fish.

That kids eyes are glued on the large hook underneath that pod of baitfish on the locator...... This kid will probably be out-fishing Pop by the time he sheds diapers! lol

he certainly will. he put his hands on his first walleye and was even caught turning the reel on my wife's ultra - light

What's cool about this is that you believe that IS the coolest day ever. it is, and will be remembered.

Kids Rule. Bad news is, they grow up and wreck your car.

Good news is, they grow up more and take you fishing and give you grandkids.

You're going to have lots of "best days ever", when you make your kid a part of your life, you just can't help it. They have a way of doing that.

Everytime my daughter catches a sunny or bass it's like the 1st fish she ever caught.

It's gotten to the point now where fishing with a 6 year old is so fun that I don't even get out muskie fishing much anymore.
