Never heard of the color "Matrix" before until I was asked to paint one in Black Chrome.
It's an easier pattern to paint on a larger lure, but this is what I came up with.
Most times the stripe in the middle goes all the way to the back.
The way these blanks are made I couldn't do that without it spreading out all over, so I cut it short.
Love that black chrome.

That color is very nice - is that a new bait for you? Doesn't look like a Perka but I couldn't tell if it was a Perkette from the camera angle.

It's a Perkette that I made in the spring. Don't know why it's back up here.
Played around with some black chrome and other chromes this spring. They looked cool, but not as cool as some of the other effects that some guys that were experimenting with. They ran a bunch of stuff past Stan Durst and I, but though they looked cool, they never really set the world on fire. I'm still using some of the other ones.
Yup, that was a one of a kind Perkette.
