So, what did he get it on?
I know I sent up a Perka with his name on it.
I gotta know!!!
Making lures that guys would catch a fish like that on are what makes it worth it.
Beav
Sworrall has the remaining Perkas from the outing for those interested.

That thing is a SOW! Awesome job, sweet photos too. Got to love those underwater shots! I started to take underwater video releases of muskies this year. Those new waterproof digital cameras are pretty sweet and do quite a job. Again, sweet fish and I hope you guys can stick another one!

Thanks for all the kind words !!! I'm still smiling about it today and probably will for a while !!! Mike and I were drifting a couple of suckers and casting over a ton of bait fish , both of us were saying how it sucks to see all of that on the graph and wonder where the fish were , pretty much all weekend for that matter . I was throwing a Perka which I got the night before during dinner at the outing , I'd twitch 3 or 4 times and pause , twitch 5 or 10 times and pause , then at the pause it stopped . I set the hook and swore I was snagged , couldn't move her !! Then she started her run , what a battle !! Under the boat , tried to jump a few times but I was able to keep her down so she wouldn't throw the hooks . She made a few line ripping runs and Mike did an awesome job of getting her in the net !!! Pretty cool to have a few friends on the same water to share the experience also !! I want to give a big thanks to Slamr , Lambeau , and of course Steve Worrall for getting this outing together , I had a blast and getting a fatty in the boat is a bonus !! A HUGE THANKS to Beav , YOU DA MAN !!! Also a huge thanks to all of the sponsors who helped out with prizes and any other contributions they made !!! This outing was a blast and I can't wait for the other outings to come !! A big thanks to Carlin Lake Lodge and Skyview lodge for their great deals and hospitality !! Lambeau and Sorno , thanks for the great pics and all of your help , Magruter thanks for being there to enjoy the day !!! TRULY AN AWESOME DAY !!

AWESOME!
On the pause? You mean fish hit gliders on the pause?
Sounds textbook man. Working suspended baitfish with a glider above the baitfish.
Good for you.
I'm not the man, you are.

What an awsome fish. Its great to get here on a Perka. Expecially a Perka hand made for you. Great job Beaver on those baits. I was blown away on the pile of baits you made possible for everyone. Perkas on the pause..............

Look for the rest of the Outing lures to be offered on the Buy, Sell, Trade board tomorrow or the next day. Beav worked his tail off making these for us, and the results were GREAT for Team Rumbleknott!
