Location: Northern Wisconsin | i have seen so many people having succes with dawgs and i have tried them alot but yet to even have a follow on one. what are your favortie ways to work them and your favorite colors. pictures of some good colors would be awesome. i noticed in the musky town DVD they were using a green/ orange tail colored one. is that a custom color or is it a regular color? any tips would be great. thanks.

Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | keep them wet! I hated those derned things, of course, untill my first fish on one. Jig, jerk, crank, and smoke those puppys over weeds. Check out my Lure Doctor article in MH magazine about weighting them for speed. If you do not have that issue, send me a PM with your e-mail, and i'll send it to you.

Posts: 8828 | I don't know that color is all that important when it comes to dawgs, as long as one of the colors is black and the tail is some other color ![]()
