Location: Windy City | Wondering what everyones experience has been with these motors. Looking at a new boat and this is the motor on it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Location: Eau Claire, WI | I don't have the 150 but one of my boats has a four stroke Yami and I love it. I personally know a handful of people with the larger motors like you are considering and they all are happy with them.
If you're concerned about it, have a dealer give it a basic check over, worth the few bucks to give you peace of mind. |

| I own a 1760 opsrey with a F150 and it is by far and away the best motor I have ever used. I have not a had one problem with it in a year of use now, and this is the first motor in 7 years that i can say that about. Please do not hesitate to buy one on your next boat!!! |

Location: Springfield, IL and Vermilion Bay, ON | A Canadian camp I know well uses 4 stroke Yamaha's 30 and 50 hp.
He says they hold up well and my experience renting them is nothing short of fantastic.
I did have a bendix stick on me this fall, but that was a relatively fix. |

Location: chicago | I have a yammi 4 stroke 150 on the back of a sylvan 1800 expedition. Excellent gas mileage, very quiet, got her up to 50mph with just me in the boat. No complaints. |
