I'd suggest -> "The Ultimate Instant Glue System" from Hawg Seekers Tackle->

http://www.hawgseekers.com

I works great- much better than standard super glue.

Have fun!

I used the Hawgseekers glue but, can't keep it from drying up once I open it. I knew there was a post somewhere on this subject. Thanks. Pat

the hawgseeker glue does work but it gets so hard that is cracks. your best bet is using a torch. you might do it a lot, but it is better than glue.

considering i deal with bulldawgs all the time.forget the glue!! you heat the two pieces with a lighter or glue gun tip and melt them together!! it works and highly recommend it to anyone!! becareful with the lighter if you dont want burn marks on your baits, just heat them slow without the flame touching the plastic.

I just tried Mike Hulbert's idea with the wood burner. Worked like a champ and, fast. Pat

Hmmm.

Wonder if a soldering iron might get too hot?

Cabela's sells a plastic welder that is great for repairing tore up Bulldawgs. It runs on AA batteries.

Woodburner is the only way to go. Once you've done it you won't use anything else.

Lighter in the boat works for me for quick fixes to keep going. Still use a lighter in the cabin at night when I can get them dry and really work them over. I have found that the lighter didn't work well on the walleye/white bottom. The white was a different material and wouldn't heat weld together very well.

Joel from Hawgseekers contacted me and has replaced the bottle of glue that dried up on me. I urge everyone to try out their products. I have been having a Great year fishing with their lures. Thank's Joel. Pat

I have the best luck with one of those small butane lighters that acts more as a small torch. The glue is good for a quick fix but I find melting them back together is the best bet for the long run.

i use a propane torch, you know the blue ones that have a screw on head, got it at menards. set the flame to the lowest setting, open up the rips and torch the inside, squeeze it together then torch the outside of it. just quick little touches from the fame melts it enough without burning. really easy and is back to normal.

If you work in a manufacuring industry, chances are, the same glue is in your parts room, along with the accelerant. This stuff is not exclusive, other than their label. parts room is also a great source of heat shrink tubing.

I'm just saying, not encouraging.

wow, your right but i cant even buy as cheap as they sell it plus I'm supporting the industry. That's like saying don't buy that bucktail cause you can get it at walmart, I expext more from our peers. Thanks for the heads though as i did check on it.
