| How many of you have caught BIG PIKE while fishing muskies if so, tell us about it.
Here is a 44", my largest pike taking on a bucktail in Canada. It was one of the best battles I ever had. |

|
| Here is a Lake X 41" pike taken on a Thunderhead. Hey handyman, ever seen this one. |
|
| |
|
| The biggest pike i ever caught was while Muskie fishing. 40 1/2". It was a pleasant suprise. A buddy also got a 43". If it cant be a muskie it might as well be a pike. If you are used to dink pike, anything 40" or better is huge. |

| Caught 43" pike while trolling for Muskie on Geogian Bay at dusk using a baby depth raider. In the low light we thought it was a Muskie until it did a tail walk at the side of the boat. Being it was a bad few days for Muskie it was a welcome sight.

| The waters I fish have not to many pikes in them wich is a good thing for the muskie population but we see some good ones. I remember shaking off a pike at boatside because I was so mad it was not a muskie before I realise it waranted a measurement as it was well over the 20 pounds range. My longuest measured pike was last spring and it went 47 inches. [:sun:] |

| Jason,
As you are aware, I am far more fired up about big Pike than most muskie anglers. Here are a couple that fell for Violent Strike spinnerbaits on the Goon. |

| Jason....Steve....you guys are going to get into trouble if you keep posting pike pictures! Frankly, I find the beasts very entertaining and you guys have caught some beauts. This one inhaled an 8" Jack's Whacker imitation I made....notice you can't see the lure? She completely inhaled it but the hooks came out in about a minute with no gill bleeding and she swam off well. I've caught some nice pike using big lures before I ever thought of musky fishing. So their the musky's second cousin from down south of the tracks...they are still fun to catch!

hmmmm....pic didn't upload...thought I had that problem figured out |

| Worrall buddy...If I get a chance, I am going to teach you how to hold a muskie or a pike horizontally or vertitcal with support. Thats if I can teach an OLD DOG a new trick.
Nice Pike,, I see you had a Lake Shelbyville sweatshirt on. HMMMM maybe that is your secret lake.[] []
JAson.......................................................
NOPE!! Just the sweatshirt. The pike are supported by my other hand, takes out about half the weight. Notice the tail pointing forward. ( young pups....)[:0] Worrall [] [] |

| Heck, I have caught a few decent pike, nothing like those but moslty 20-24" pike hit my big spinners, jerkbaits and crankbaits. I put on a squirly burt and it's small pike fest for me. |

|
| Jason Schillinger,
That might be the same as my 41". I know its the same spot...lol[] |

|
| Mr. Smith,
Why don't you call me when you get to your inlaws, and we just take one rig so we have 1 fewer boats at "X"lol.

| ***First try at picture attachment failed!!***
Here is the biggest pike I have ever netted... my bro actually did the catching. 47" 26 pounder from heavily pressured Michigan waters. This fish was more of a longshot than the 50" musky he caught from the same water because of harvest. Not the biggest pike I have ever seen though, saw one MUCH bigger in Canada, followed and nipped at boatside. |

| One more try at adding the picture... |

|
| My biggest pike while musky fishing is a 39.5 incher on a metro lake. Got her on a bucher bucktail doing a fiqure 8.
