Just curious as to what you would do with a M7700? I have two that I use for trolling nad they work great forthat dut as for casting I would take a regular 7000 anyday. The M7700 is very heavy and IMO does not cast very well because the spool is so heavy.

I would use it for casting...it isn't much bigger / heavier than the 6600 Morrum I don't think ? the way my morrums cast great I assumed the 7700 would cast just as smooth as it's just a beefed up 6600 with lower gear ratio...

it cant be any bigger or heavier than the current 7000 big game cl's or penn 975 I'm throwing....
