Landed two fish the past two days....one on each trip out. All fish from shore also! Also have been contacting multiple fish each time out! It is just a blast and nice to get into a few fish....now just need to get into a few with some size.

I dont mind fishing alone, but I also enjoy going fishing with other people as well.

Anybody from the area and watches this board for more than a few days at a time knows the two hundred yard strecth of river you fish and what bank you stand on. You won't be fishing alone again.

Hahahaha! If you think I'm the only one out there you are severly mistaken. I havent been the only person down there in a long time. What you also need to remeber is now duck season is open as well as bow season. This helps out considerably with crowds. Also, the general joe fisherman/weekend warrior as I like to call them, dont have a fricking clue how to fish that section of river. The fish have also been pretty particular as in what bait they want to eat. I've thrown a handfull of other baits and havent done jack squat. So I'm not too worried about people finding out about this "secret spot" cause to be honest, every college kid with an ounce of brains knows about this spot. If people come to me directly and ask me what to do down there to catch a fish I'll tell them exactly what to throw and where to throw it. If someone gets a fish because I gave them some insight on what to do, thats almost as good as catching it myself!

Yeah, this is the definition of a community spot. No need to worry that a secret location will be let out of the bag since it recycles rather quickly. Alot of people won't fish it with regularity because it's from shore, not in a boat and due to that notion that you have to be in a boat to catch muskies which alot of people have they'll just turn their nose to quality shore spots.
