Location: Northern Wisconsin | i need help with figure 8ing a suick. i have had follows where they are hot on it and once i start
my poor figure 8 with the suick they just look at it. i havent been able to get any to strike. any
tips on how to 8 a suick or alike baits?

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Slow on the straightaway, faster on the turn with a 'pop' as you enter the next straightaway. Works for me!
I tune my Suicks so they 'walk the dog' as well and a glider, and when tuned like that they swim really well. Great lure made by really nice people! |

| I agree with Steve. If you're gonna fish these baits its imperative you kind of "tweak" the bait to give it some added movement. I bend the edges of the tail down slightly which gives it a great shimmy on the pull and, consequently, on the straight aways of the 8. Speed is critical during the 8 as well (goes for any bait really). Try and keep that bait away from the fish if it's HOTT. You can move Suicks SUPER fast. |

| circles! - it easier to keep the bait moving -dive/rising with a suick's or bobbie baits with large circles - keep it moving with eratic twithes and hang-on during the pause/rise - I prefer them to run straight - I think they shine in slop (why I want very little side to side action)
