Location: Valentine, NE USA | Just read a PM from an excited Mikie after his trip to Minnesota with Ace Guide Service.
For those who haven't recently read the "Fishing Reports" forum, Mikie scored a heavy 47" personal best with his first MN fish, on his first day of the trip to Lake Vermilion. Not only that - they were fishing in less-than-ideal conditions (to say the least), and he had broncitis and a fever to boot!!!
Congratulations, man! You earned it. Nice pics, too!

Location: Athens, Ohio | Dude, that bait of yours just Rocks! When Ace saw the paint job I did on it, he said it was the ugliest thing he'd seen. It is certainly bigger around than a regular Globe, and moves a ton of water. I thought it was broken when I first got it, the prop was loose - found out later it was made that way for more noise (DUH!). I got a mid-30's on it later in the week, too. Dropped the fish back in the water without measuring, my bad.
Thanks again for making such a great bait, I've had two offers for it already. no way. m |
