Posts: 17 Location: Antigo, WI | Help needed! I am asking all of you on MuskieFirst to help a fellow musky hunter recover his stolen musky gear. My friend had a black and green soft sided takle bag with about $1200.00 worth of baits, raingear and his Frabill net taken out of his boat parked in his driveway. If anyone comes accross any information that may help recover his gear or atleast catch the responsible party please contact the Antigo Police Department at 715-627-6411.

I always left my vehicle unlocked and equipment in my truck, but last time home my parents were telling me about all the auto break ins, went a locked the vehicle up. Troyz

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I consider myself fortunate that wasn't me. I routinely leave gear in my boat waiting for the next trip, it's never far enough away to worry about cleaning the boat out is it? Last night the rig was emptied!

Posts: 31 Location: Hoges Store, VA | It takes a low down SOB to steal to begin with...........but it takes a lower one to steal muskie baits, rods, and nets, or any kind of fishin/huntin tools..........I'd be upset if someone broke into my vehicle and stole my radio or cell phone or something......but for someone to steal rods/baits/nets etc, I'd be irrate.

Posts: 327 | It really sucks having anything that you worked hard for to get ripped off !!! It even sucks when free stuff gets heisted !! My cousin in s.e. Minnesota had some jack-hole smash his window and steal a small 8 pt. rack that we cut off a dead deer , now that's low !! Worst part is we stopped for a beer and were in the bar no longer than 15 minutes , it was a cold ride home !!!

Posts: 929 Location: Rhinelander. | good luck finding it. this items appear to be low on recovery rate for local police. Been a year and half and the fondy police dept have not contacted me one time. I have had to make all contact and it was alot more then 1200 bucks worth, not to downplay your loss its just sick that this crap happens. Pfeiff Don't tell your in. agent you fish tournaments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
