| Can someone tell me the status 'for sure" of the boat launch at Independence 6 different people have told me 6 different things swearing that the other 5 dont know what their talking about,,Ive heard closed for rebuilding till next year,,,closed till Oct 15th,,opens sept 30th and on and on,,,Need to know for Mini Challunge between North Metro and TC chapter |

Call the parks department. They'll know better than anybody. |

| It is definitely closed for the season....there are two signs in the park/at the landing that state exactly that. |

| Finnaly got an answer from "Bruce" superintendent at Indy,,,landings "official" early closing is Oct 2nd,,,the "early" part means that it could actually be open a couple days latter but he said "dont rely on that",,,He also said lake would be off limits to boats during that time even if they are the carry in cartopper variety,,, |
