I would like to hear storys on what happend in the boat while you were trying to release a muskie.

I fell in once. Kinda like the photo but a wave came, pushed the boat and I went swimming with my muskie. Bill Schwartz just stood their and laughed at me, what else could he do.[]

The attached photo shows a muskie "Giving me the fin"

What do you mean by that Sponge?.

I was at least drinking age when this photo was taken on lake X.

The only funny story I have envolves the live release of a 165lbs. 65inch behemouth. Maybe this should be under the Frabil vs Beckman post because it shows just what a beckman can hold and handle. Anyways we were fishing on Lac Seul when we saw a monster surface in the back of bay "X". We had to try and catch this one, we thought we might be able to brake the C&R world record. She would not take any lures and was not really moving, so we made our move to try and net her. We had her in the net for a few minutes where she was going nuts!(could not believe some of the noises this thing made! *&%$ @#*%) She was definitely not happy with us or what we where trying to do with her. We had noticed some strange markings or what seemed like garbage on her.(actually turned out to be shorts). So after a few minutes in the net, and a little time to calm down we decided to help remove the items that were wrapped around this monster. This took quite a bit of effort also, because she continued to struggle with us, and she was quite strong. We finally got the items removed from around the monster and gave it a successful release back into it's wilderness home after a quickly weighing and measuring her. We hope we were able to help her to live at least a little bit longer. Sorry not a very clear picture, but that is probably better.

How funny, this too was on lake X. I just hand landed this fish, and told my dad to snap the pic when she shook out of my horizontal hold. I didn't drop her, but she pulled a couple muscles in my arm!! Put her back and she swam away too quickly for a release shot.

lol nice jason. How cold was the water? These supposed muskie fisherman last weekend were giving me and schuler crap about being on the water in the 40 degrees in a boat. I ignored them, they don't know what it takes to get a muskie anyways[:praise:]
