Hey all you pike slayers across the pond. My brother just moved to Estonia at the end of August. I told him I would try to find him some areas to go pike fishing. I thought that I saw a post from a guy that went on the Baltic Sea (I could be waaay off). I know there's gotta be some areas and guides in that region. Can you help me out finding him a way to get some big Euro pike so I have a reason to get over there. :)

Thanks!

You might give Luca Cattin a shout. He is a pike guide out of Italy who has guided over much of Ireland and Europe. He has a website: http://www.pikefirst.com/ . I am sure he could steer you in the right direction. If not, then the forum there might give you a better response.

If you get in touch with Luca, tell him Bob Pieske says Hi. Good Luck.

Is Estonia a country? It sounds like a make believe land from a Disney movie. I don't know anything about EuroPike, but I'm pretty sure your brother can find plenty of EuroTrash in the nightclubs. Tell him to practice his techno-dancing at a couple of raves before he goes.

Still PackerHopeful, I'm going to the game tomorrow.

Tuffy,
Contact Jochen Boettcher from Pikeworld.
He fishes the Baltic often.
He will be fishing the European Pike Championship in Sweden next week.
They like to use gliders and soft plastics (EZ-E Glider) over there.
His e-mail address is:
[email protected]

He has a great website too.
www.pikeworld.de

Hope this helps.

Paul

I don't know anything about pike fishing in Estonia, but across the Baltic Sea from Estonia is Sweden, a wellknown place for pike enthusiasts. Below are a few email addresses and websites of a few guides in or near the Stockholm area. The beautiful Stockholm archipelago is famous for it's big Baltic pike.

Here are the websites and the contact email for each site, and since most of the sites are in Swedish (the Nordin site and Sportfisherman site are available in English too) you can probably just email them in English and ask your specific questions you might have about their services.
