Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | Here's part of an email I just recieved from a satisfied customer. He was trolling an 8" shallow running Sucker Cranx.
The bait pictured is a similar model but has the deep diving lip.
Mike got my lures last week. Sorry I did not email you sooner but I was out Fishing. The frist time out with my new Muskysnax lure. I starter to do my trolling run. Not more them 45 min this is what I picked up. A nice 43 incher. A friend of mine was out fishing to and he took the photo. I did not have my camera out in the rain that day.

| I'm interested in that trolling set up with the downeasters.
What kind of luures do you run on the front and back rod? what baits? Shallow with the back and diver on front?
Curious as I have been messing around trolling the last few years but only set up one rod on each side |

| Nice fish , AWESOME looking baits !! That's a cool fish pic of you in your boat from another boat , don't see that much !! SUSPEND .. we run 6 lines when we troll ( if legal of course ) and we run planer boards off the fron , straight down on the second rod , short line in the prop wash off the back . Learned that from someone around this web-site and it works really well . Use the prop wash as your " tunnel " to run and clear lines , kinda hard to picture but play around and you'll figure out what suits you . Hope this helps !! |
