Subject: Perrault Lake, Ontario


I'm going up this Friday for a week of fishing, first time fishing the lake for musky. Anybody been there recently and any advice on baits this time of year. Any information would be greatful!

I'ver fished it in September, and did well on buxcktails moved fast and topwater moved slow. Gliders were OK, too. Pretty typical, I guess.

What size musky are typically caught on Perrault Lake, I know there is a 54" limit for keeping. I release all my fish of course!

I've had better luck on Cedar Lake. I think it is easier to fish also, but maybe that is because I've had better luck. I'd throw bucktails, suicks, and topwaters. Good luck.
