Location: Toronto, Canada | Muskie Report Sep.9 wkd. 9 yr.old boy lands 273” of muskie Note: 2day report Day1: Saturday Morning was cold (6 degress ..burr) and the north wind was strong at 7:00am with thick clouds with a bit of rain. We had the boat on the water by 7:15am. We started the day casting cranks and spinnerbaits and manged to move a fish in the first 15minutes. 2 hours went by and we left the that bay with 2 follows and on-off hit. By the 3rd hour we trolled and mange to land Gregs first muskie. Just over the 4 hour mark, we hit a fish on a spinner bait casting onto a 7’flat and lost her, it felt like a good one??. By noon Greg had bagged a 4lbs walleye on large spinner bait. Thereafter Greg felt he had to learn jerkbaiting and within 40 minutes working a suick jerkbait landed his 2nd muskie. From 2:30pm the sun had broken through out and fishing had shut-down. By 7 pm we had lost 2 more and Greg landing his 3rd muskie. With great smiles across the boat shooting 3 for 7+1 walleye we docked the boat and enjoyed the dockside cold refreshments after a hard days work of muskie hunting. Thank you guys for the incredible day! Enjoy the pics day 1 Day2: The next morning we launched the boat by by 8:00am. My new guests 9 year old Quinton and his Right-on Grandmother Jerry along my friend Brett. The sun was bright (scary bright) and air was crisp. We had our lines wet by trolling at 9:00am, and remained wet for around 5.5 hours (2:30pm) before our first hit. Quinton shocked as he quickly moved to the rod and reeled in his first Muskie, ”very impressed with his technique”. Quinton at 9 years of age is already a hardcore angler, Grandmother tells me he fishes 8-10 hrs a day during the summer on his dock at his lake house and then plays fishing video games until bed time. As the air temperature increased significantly by 3:30pm the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,6th and finally 7th muskie landed by 6pm. I am greatful to have made that afternoon a memory of a life time for me and also my guests that waited 6.5 hours for something to happen….Wow, incredible, these fish are neat! Thank you Quinton and Grandma Jerry for this great memory.
