| Is anyone currently running a newer 60 Yamaha? (Tiller) If so, on what boat? any speed info? All input would be appreciated. I am looking to put one on my Lund Pro-V 1660 in place of a 50h.p. Honda.

| The motor will be sold outright. I believe it is a 1997. Was bought new with the boat. |

| i am running a 2004 on a tuffy esox magnum tiller.with 20 gallons of gas and 2 people it comes out the hole good with a top speed of 32 [email protected] you are alone with 10 gallons of gas it will run 35 @5700rpm.the biggest problem with it is with a 20 gallon tank i have run out of gas twice because it's a long time between fills!
i plan on buying a new boat soon and will probably try the 60 on it even lthough it is a bigger hull.i highly recommend the 60f as mine has close to 400 hours running time[i fish and guide alot] without even a minor problem.i know of several guys in our area that are running 2004/2005/2006 without a hitch.if i do buy a new motor you can bet it will be yammie 4 stroker! |
