| Heading up for a family vacation from the 22nd to the 29th. While It's a family trip, I do plan on fishing a bit for muskies. I have basically promised my 7 year old daughter that she'll get her first.
I plan on targeting 'skis early mornings and at dusk. Any tips regarding general areas and presentations?
Thanks in advance,
Mike |

Location: Wishin I Was Fishin' | Weighted 10" Suicks on the deep weed lines.
Ernies and Bulldawgs over the deepest basin areas.
Bucktails in the weeds for smaller fish.
Weeds ~ firetiger, deep ~ cisco or black/silver pattern.
Try Big Sandy breakline on Tomahawk in the evenings with silver(or white) blade and black hair bucktail. |

Location: chicago | Make sure you hit around the public pier off 51 btween 7&9 a.m. Every summer their is always some panfish guys off the pier yelling they have a muskie on. Also Kennedy bay btween 7&14 w/ bucktails. Also, when you take the channel to Tomahawk, their is a nice weedbed to your right once you get out of the channel. If you need a few walleye spots let me know. |
