Been busy working OT and regular job and Did'nt get time to obtain a moon chart for July , Can someone give me a link or cut/paste the hot fishing times for July 8th-15th. I'll be on the Manitou near Eagle Lake. I'm leaving mid day to fly north. Thanks ManitouDan

Justin --Sure wish you were coming -I'll try to catch a big one in your honor. Hey that chart you posted does jive with the moon rise/moon set times I looked at on musky hunter. Anyone have a explanation for this ? The "hot" fishing times on the infisherman chart are not close to the MR / MS times for international falls for that week ?? ManitouDan

Dan, Hope you get this in time. I'm taking it off Rick Taylor's Primetimes CD, and I used Latitude and Longitude numbers corresponding to Osbourne Bay of Eagle Lake (N 49 33' by W 93 00'), since I didn't have exact lat / lon for Manitou, but it will be extremely close in terms of time frames, since it's only about 30 miles away maybe. Anyway here goes... SR=sunrise SS=sunset MR=moonrise MS=moonset MO=moon overhead MU=moon underfoot Note: I've only been using this program since last summer, but as far as I can tell, the moon overhead and moon underfoot periods would correspond to the a.m. and p.m. "Majors" in John Alden Knights system. The "Minors" would occur roughly halfway between the MO and MU periods, although the software doesn't give me this info directly. You'd have to do it by hand. I used this software last year while fishing Cedar / Perrault during the new moon, and was pretty impressed with the initial results. Good luck. Let me know how you do. "Jackpot" John Schroeder 7-8 SR 523a SS 919p MR 729p MS 228a MO 1102p-1148p MU 1024a-1120a 7-9 SR 523a SS 919p MR 834p MS 318a MO ? Jackpot-- Thanks a bunch --I got this as I was headin' out the door. VERY INTERTESTING STUFF Looks to me IF I'm reading Joe Buchers chart right that his times are different that other people's charts . His coincide with moon rise/ set others with moon over/under foot --- Well I'll check this thread in 3 weeks IM GOING FISHING !!!!!!!! Thanks again Jackpot -- I'll try to see which charts match our "hot" fishing times the best . ManitouDan
