I will be fishing Eagle Lake out of AML for the first time the week of July 22. Any advice would be much appreciated. Please PM me if you prefer.

Thank you,

Steve

big dawgs, black/orange for everything, medium to large bucktails (not too nutty big), a few depthraiders, a topraider, weagle or jackpot, and make sure you've got hot colors for bright days and natural for dark days. also a 10" jake or 9" grandma might help you out.
heading to AML for my 5th time the first week in August.....if I make it sound so simple, why have I bought like 20 new lures for the trip?

grandma (tennessee shad), depth raider (natural pike), bulldawg (magnum black and orange) and an eagle tail or two ... 5 baits ... you'll throw one or two.

don't forget some smaller tails....the eagles may not be in full swing yet....oh...and your nuts if you don't have your trusty topwaters in hand.

That time of year I would think would be a good mix of weed and rock bite....

I also suggest you bring some monster baits to troll out at Indian Lake Chain, that lake usually pounds a couple multiple fish days trolling after a cold front....13" Grandma's, Triple XXX, stuff like that...good luck my dad and I will be up there last week of July for our 4th time i believe...great time and great fishing

Check in with Herbie and LISTEN!  Go to his seminars and LISTEN!  Hire his guides and ask questions!  They will put you on fish.

One word Enigmas, sound it out, first word May, second word Eye, sounds like Annabelle Chong, but is spelled Anomaly.
