Pelican put out six fish tonight, and everyone I talked to moved fish as well. Sue and I spent the last two hours trying to convince a PIG to eat, but no dice. She swatted at an Undertaker and missed, then followed in; nice fish in the mid 30# class. Largest fish tonight was a 44, second is pictured here, Steve Kimble's 42.5.

Good job to those who caught fish!!!

I apologize to anyone who heard a litany of obscenities right around 8:25 or so. That was me after booting a fish that would have scored some points. Hit my twitchbait, confirm it's a muskie, she surfaces, does her best Mary Lou Retton impersonation...with a few headshakes thrown in for good measure, decides it no longer found the bait yummy enough to keep in her yap, and off she goes. Very catchable fish that should have been #7.

I wonder how long the window remained open... 4 out of the 6 fish registered were around 8:35 - 8:50 (other 2 had no time written down). We saw our fish around 8:45...sunset/night bite may have been the trigger???

I love the color and pattern on that fish! Never see em quite like that down here.

Two things, camping is questionable, and THEY DON'T MISS!!!!
