Does anyone who owns a Tuffy Esox Magnum T have any idea what the total weight of the Boat, Motor and Trailer is? The reason I ask is Im wondering if I would have any problems towing it with a '93 Jeep Cherokee Laredo.
Thanks

NO PROBLEM! I pulled my Esox with a Cherokee for a while without any issues. The hull is 900lbs, add a couple 100 for the motor and the same for the trailer. I would estimate total package to be under 1600lbs. If you by mine, it will come with at least and additional 3,400lbs of fish stories!

Dave dorazio pulled his Esox Magnum with his Jeep Commanche, so I don't think you'll have a problem.

You ever see Dorazio drive? I worry about that! I took the Milwaukee phone book off his seat one day, so he had to let me drive! hehehe

I got behind Dorazio driving from the boat landing one time and I kept wondering what short old lady had a Tuffy Esox because all I could see was knuckles on the steering wheel . . . . .

I heard Dave is in such demand and switched boats this year. He'll be guiding 6 clients at a time from his new pontoon. Tiller model of course.

I just this week put my rig (Esox Mag C) on a truck scale that I have access to at work.

With fishing gear on board, 1/2 tank gas and a 90-hp 2-stroke, it came to 2600 lbs.

I would guess a T model would come in at #2300-2500, depending on the motor?

Still, should not be a problem for your Jeep.

I have a Tuffy Rampage 160XT witha 40hp tiller on the back and tow it with a 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport with 4.0...... stopping from speed aint the best with it but otherwise tows fine... If not mistaken the Rampage and esox mag should be sorta close in weight....
