Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Just to upset the masses rooting against me, I am going to keep the new Tuffy clean as a whistle, inside and out. Just watch.
On that note, I need something to dry out/clean the carpet from this weekend's driving in tropical storm like rain. Anyone have suggestions? Heading to Home Depot tonight, probably. |

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | One thing I use is our "spot vac" handheld carpet cleaner. It's kind of a pain to us because of it's size, but it sucks the water out well and cleans the carpet at the same time. Every year I'll soap down the carpet and run this over it and it does wonders keeping the carpet looking good. You'd also be amazed how much dirt and junk you get out of your carpet.

Location: Athens, Ohio | I garage my boat, so a box fan in the boat and a dehumidifier in the garage work in good combination for me. m |

Location: MN | I use a 'very large' Sears shop vac. Bulky ... but works great.

| Slamr...I also use a Sears shopvac just wet and soap down and suck it up with the vac, just remember to remove the filter inside so it doesnt' get soaked also I like the large capacity container of the shop vac I can do the whole boat with out having to empty until I am done. I had my esox mag for 7 years and the carpet still looked brand new with regular cleaning. Mike |
