I'm staying at Red Wing Lodge in Sept. Any suggestions on where to rent a larger boat than what's available at the lodge?

Thanks.

Hey. If you have to resort to using a boat from red wing, do not hit a rock cause mike will overcharge you BIG time. We hit a rock up there last year and it tore the prop and a couple of scrapes. he said that by the time he sent it to international falls and back will would be charged close to 1,500 bucks!!! Watch out and try to find a boat rental place that includes insurance on their boats! Good luck!

There is a marina in Hanson's bay. Not sure if they have rentals or not.

Remember, this is LOTW. You will hit rocks, and you will ding the prop. I would fiind out exactly what motor is on your rental, and bring a spare prop. I would use the prop you bring, and save theirs for the spare. That is an easy $50-$100 investment.
