Posts: 32945 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Brian, Sarah, and I hit the water a bit this weekend, with a couple muskies in the boat with a multi-specie mix of good fishing. Keith, Brian, and Sarah fished Minocqua tonight and popped a nice limit of 'eyes, didn't fish muskies. Sue and I worked on the Hideout this evening getting it ready for the Outing this week. We do have Rhinelander Muskie League Tuesday, so we'll get some time on the water. Met Slamr with his new rig today; we'll have that puppy ready to rock by Thursday when he and Nikki get to the Hideout. Nice ride, Slamr! How'd you do this weekend?

Posts: 2112 Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | my post frontal post pretty much summed up me and K-bob's weekend, other than the fact that I landed an 18" largemouth and a 10" walleye on a 6" bait, K stuck a 29" northern, a 29" dogfish, and he had a follow from what might have been the state record bowfin. that thing was insanely HUGE!

Posts: 686 Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | I seem to be relegated to fishing at nite and the nite bite was on!!! Boated a few fish including a fathead of a 45. Got out on the water at 9pm and fished till 1 am or so both nights this weekend, all in all it was a blast!!!! Attachments ---------------- 45 musky 002.jpg (57KB - 145 downloads)

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Not a whole lot of fishing this past weekend, I just about finished the honey-do list so I am good for the summer. Spent Sat. evening on the waters of the Three Lakes Chain, the fish were a bit lethargic, and there seems to be little pattern to the fishing at all. Moved fish on Glide Baits and Bucktails and boated a short one on a Mepps Marabou. Sunday evening was very peaceful on Pelican. Nice weather, no bugs, light breeze, no boaters and very few fishermen......oh yeah, and NO FISH!!! Water Temps have stabilized around Rhinelander in the low 70's. I expect good things for the outing this week!

Posts: 5874 | Got out with Wisconsin Wade Sunday morning on Green Bay. I put on a clinic, as all the walleyes came on my side of the boat! But you probably don't want to hear about bait, right? OK then. Wades friend, Rick?, was out trolling for ski's in and around Suamico bay. They got a pike, but no ski's.

Posts: 427 Location: Wausau | Three Lakes Chain. Friday I landed a 38" and had two more follows. Satuday and Sunday we saw about 10-12 fish following bucktails, suicks and gliders...fish were 2-3 feet behind and 1-2 feet under lure. Same story each fish...lazy follows. Any one else have the same frustrations during the day? I see the night bite might have been the way to go! Norm - saw you out there, but I missed Saturday sunset b/c of a sick child - too much lake water not so good... Edited by agrimm 6/5/2006 10:45 AM

Posts: 273 | I fished Mohawksin yesterday morning into the afternoon. Caught one small pike and my partner had a nice fish follow on a crank. Not the results I was looking for, but that's fishin. Jeff

Posts: 1245 Location: Madtown, WI | Well Travis Kopke guided me around for suspendos on saturday. Sat night at 930 and 10 pm he and I connected with a 42.5(me) and a 45.5 inch fish (him) over 40 feet of water 4 feet down. If your looking to learn the suspendo game Travis knows his stuff! He is a great guy to spend a day on the water with! http://www.kopkeguideservice.com/ Cory

Posts: 726 Location: Eau Claire, WI | No fishing for me this weekend (plenty coming this week though). Took my wife and six week old daughter camping instead. The verdict? Esme says camping rocks! Start 'em early. Jono Attachments ---------------- Esme_2006_0604_0003.JPG (35KB - 153 downloads)

Location: Contrarian Island | Josh nice to see you got smart and got a RANGER!! and it got slimed... I'll be up your way soon enough.. I only got out friday morning and friday evening...no ski's friday a.m. but we did find some big bull gils on Waubesa that were fun.... Friday evening I got out on Monona and we raised a few nice ones and saw some REAL nice ones sitting on the bottom in 12 fow that wanted nothing to do with our baits.....last week took my buddy and his 2 boys out "cat'n"...nothing huge in the net but the 2 boys had a ball reeling in some nice cats.... Posts: 336 Location: Lino Lakes, MN | Got a 34-35 casting off the pier while waiting for Hopeful and Koepp to get in on Thursday. Havent been getting out too much with the stomach and all but it sure was nice to finally get a little slime on the hands. Good luck to everyone heading up to the outing this weekend.
