Posts: 94 | Has anyone tried the Musky Armor gloves yet? If so, how do you like them? Are they protective enough against the gill rakers despite the thin material? I've been thinking of maybe picking up a pair but I'm over in Sweden and I don't know if they're available here. Maybe someone could pick up a pair for me and send them over and I'll pay with Paypal?

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I'll be doing a product review on the gloves and shoes in a couple weeks. I tried the shoes in extreme conditions, and was very impressed. Attachments ---------------- DSC_0379.JPG (72KB - 335 downloads)

Posts: 734 | I have used the gloves several times this year. They are great. Even picked up a big catfish with them. I will have a few pairs in the boat for sure. The only complaint is that they stay wet, but they will dry fast in the summer I bet. Nothing like sticking your fingers in a freezing wet glove.

| I use what they call "Farm" gloves, or even "Chemical" gloves. They are pretty much just canvas gloves with a black Rubber/Plastic coating on them. I think they work well. I'll have to look into these Musky Armor ones though. | |||

Posts: 1301 Location: Hayward, Wisconsin | I picked up a pair this winter and am looking forward to using them. Years of gill raker cuts on the backs of my fingers is getting old. I believe the "feel" using them will be the next best thing to bare hands! Muskie regards, Larry Ramsell [email protected]

| Really love my two pair. Only thing that would make them better is if they were free. | |||

Posts: 144 Location: the Netherlands | Hi Guy's , I used the gloves a week ago in Sweden, lost my lefty the first day:( but even inside-out they work fine and are well worth there money, they dry pretty quick. Attachments ---------------- glove.JPG (18KB - 336 downloads)

Posts: 106 Location: Des Plaines, IL | I must be getting old, I love gloves now. I do wish they were waterproof also. Fishing early and late in the season I need dry hands to stay out there all day.

Posts: 172 | I've got a friend who loves the shoes. I think they are so ugly looking, but if they keep me warm and dry, I might have to try a pair.

Posts: 696 Location: Northern Illinois | Yeah, I agree about the shoes looking like skateboarding shoes! I'm gonna get a really light pair of Nike Free 5.0 for nice days and for the nasty days I have the water-proof boots. You definitely want something comfortable while standing and casting the whole time!

Posts: 734 | The shoes are Supposedly made in the same factory as Etnies, which is a skateboard company. I have a pair of etnies and they are super comfy and look to be the same shoe as the musky armor> Trust me I couldn't skateboard for the life of me. They just made the shoes waterproof or resistant. I don't think I could wear them with the musky logo on them. Just seems a little weird for me.
