Where are you headed to strike fear into the hearts and minds of the muskie population this weekend? I'll be working most of the weekend, but will be breaking in the new rig and bothering the walleyes a bit tomorrow night.

You?

Well it's Mom's birthday Saturday, and It's been a while since I've been home, so it's off to Iowa for the weekend. My stepdad had double knee replacement surgery this week, so it's probably a weekend full of chores, rather than fishing. It's worth it for the homecookin' though. Hopefully I can play netman for someone next weekend ......

I picked up some extra shifts at work so I won't be able to fish until early in the week and then I will be fishing the WI River locally.

Off to the Petenwell flowage, going to try to cover the new 1890 in a fresh coat of slime.

I am fishing one of the best run tourneys in the state, Todd Forciers Petenwell Musky Challenge. If you ever get a chance at an opening in this tournament jump at it!

I'm taking my daughter out Sunday on Pewaukee Lake, for a fund raising tournament for Wisconsin Lutheran High School, called the "Fisher of Men". It starts at 6:00 AM at Smokey's Muskie Shop.
In keeping with tradition, I will bring blue bird skies and post cold front conditions with me!

Saturday morning at dawn with find me restocking my freezer with salmonoids from Lake Michigan.

I'm in Florida. Would have like to have thrown a few bigs baits around Disney today to see what came in. Some interesting big girls at the parks for sure.

Tuesday is lesson one with Professor Koepp.

Kevin

Florida. Ugh. Too hot and too crowded for my plan.

WMT on Pewaukee Lake. One fish Friday night at boatside and one today after two pulls of a Suick.

Saturday will be the first tourny with the BIG O.

Hopefull, the fish are starting to go, you are in the slime time plan.

Are you ready to kick some muskie tail?

Florida is over rated, muskie rule !!!

I know this is after the fact, but the BigO once averaged a triple double for a whole season.

Off to Detroit today for the week. Got a last minute call from the boss on Friday, Just as we decided where I was going to start the MWS eye tourney today on Green Bay. Scrap the plans of having a great tourney, and am now packing to leave. Worst part is I will miss Eric's baseball game on Thursday. My plane lands as he is starting the game.
