Do you enjoy catching natural lake muskies over stocked fish? Or, a muskie is a muskie is a muskie?

All muskies are welcome but I do prefer undeveloped natural lakes with less numbers then populated lakes with bigger fish.

All I know, is that I can get LOTW fish to strike in a figure 8 much easier than Minnesota fish. In one day on LOTW, I figure eighted the same amount of fish as I do in a year in MN. Don't know why, just know that it was pretty cool.

I sure would love to catch on of those Upstate New York, Niagra River HAWGS. So what if its 100 yards from smoke stacks. The smoke coming from a screeming reel being showed whos boss by a 40+ pounder would obliterate all of what some would descibe as unnatural/industrial. muskie any time any where for sure. Natural or stocked. C'mon, tell me when a fish strikes you can tell the difference or even care....or even think of natural or stocked as shee peels line from your reel. There is no such thing as bad sex. DOH! I mean muskie. DOH...I meant sex...no muskie AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they all smell the same don't they?

The only difference I see in muskies from different waters is that some lakes, the fish are just different from other lakes. There are lakes that I just don't get follows on, they just cream the bait. Then there are lakes that I see fish on all the time, just can't catch them. Its seems that some fish have different personalities so to speak, some waters they fly off the handle doing aerial acrobatics, and others they stay deep as much as they can during the fight.

I know fish are fish, but have any of you ever noticed slight differences between lakes and the fish you catch there, or am I just high?
