Location: WI | The Cranky Nitro, and the Wild X from H2O Tackle. Both new for this year.
Got to play with them a bit at the end of last year. Got a nice chunky 45" on a Cranky Nitro the first time out with it;
The Wild X looks so good in the water one of my buddies who couldnt stop drooling over this bait said "if the fish arent eating these, they arent eating, period!"
H2O Tackle has so many great lures in its lineup not much need to play with much else,

| I picked up several different Basement Baits this year, because I believe in helping the little guy and have found homme made to be better quality than mass produced. This year was no exception, it was love at first cast for The Perkette from Beav' Basement Baits. I bought a couple of Perkas last year, and picked up a Castor on the board, but this thing moves 18" on the snap, and that's all it takes. Keep your rod tip low and snap the slack and watch it go. My partner said, "i think something is following your bait.", he was wrong, it was just the lure. As it neared the boat, all I had to do was turn the reel handle and give a very little tug to keep it going. I came home and ordered 2 more. Streamlined, lighter than most, easy to throw and work, different shape. Won't take long for someone to try to copy this one. There's talk of a bigger model by the end of summer. I hope it makes it in the schedule.
Great paint job. Strong hooks. Extaordinary top layer. I'll throw one all year long.
Go basement guys, you rock.

Location: oswego, il | Vern does not have a website but these are by far the most beautiful spinnerbaits i have ever seen. Right now waterwerks in warrenville, il has some but not any of the magnums. | The perkette will get alot of water time in my boat this year.Awesome paintjobs and even better action, I threw mine for the first time last saturday and couldn't believe how far that bait was shooting out to the side. |

the bass snatchers look to be dynamite for early season muskies.

| Not the flashiest bait on the market, but I am excited to try the new musky sized X-Rap for the early season. I caught two muskies last year fishing for smallmouth with the small version of this lure.

| Seaman, I've thrown the new Sennett creeper (Creeptonite), but just at a local pond. It has very sturdy hardware/wings and really walks easily and loud. Gonna be hard to put down the Pacemaker though.
Otherwise, I'm really looking forward to spending some time with the new "Hoodini" that I bought from Jake S. on this site. I threw them at the boat ramp yesterday and was actually expecting to catch one on it, it looked so good. |

Location: WI | As far as the Cranky Nitros, I guess its a matter of preference, I love both the 7 and 8 inch, I think the 7 will get more water time for me but that is dictated more by the waters I am using it on.
I also forgot to mention you can troll these as fast, 9mph+ and it wont blow out. |
