Lambeau,

Since this is all new to me...could you explain. I see we have "pools" with 4 teams in them...is it a round robin within your pool?

Sorry for the remedial questions...I just have never done this before and would like to clarify before we start.

Thanks,

john

yep, JJ. You need to fish against everybody in your pool before the deadline (not sure what that is this year). Team with the best record from each pool moves on.

that's exactly right - a "round robin" within your pool.
basically, you have to play each other team within your own pool one time before the end of August.
whoever has the best record within your pool after everybody has faced everybody moves on to the single-match elimination rounds in september-october.

i started a question thread in the matchfishing forum.

You have no chance anyways JJ... Jonesi and PK in the same division? Pack a lunch kid.

pools 6 and 7, the "north" pools are brutal tough.
fewer teams, but stiffer competition for sure.
i'm looking forward to watching those matches this summer...from the safety of pool 2!

Whatever Nomad...err...Cady.

Remember the water I fish produces fish consistently. It ain't no Mille Lacs, this is a one day show.

We shall see.

I'll take that as a compliment....seeing as though I'm in Pool 6

Bolinski, we've got our work cut out for us. We'll just have to fish smarter, hope the Ottawa is on slow bites during our matchup, and hope the fairer sex does not smite us down!! Bring it, boys (and girl)

Remember - second place is the first LOSER!!
