Madison chain, I only caught 2 bass on bucktails , I know sad isn't it. I have never had any luck on Pettenwell.

I did'nt get out Saturday due to my 2 year olds B-day party. I got out Sunday around noon and was able to fish until 6:30. I had two follows from low 40 inch fish, and then a little before 5:00 I hooked up and my fishing partner slid the net under a solid 25 pound class 46 1/2 incher! What a way to start out the year!! All in all we had a great day on the water. I fished Petenwell yesterday and moved 3 fish in the 38 to 42 inch range. One was going to eat at boatside, but I pulled my lure out of the water in hopes of catching her in the tournament this weekend. I'll be out later today fishing some other area's to try and locate a few more for the tournament. Jason Bovee
