thornes is 133 with FREE SHIPPING!!! Now that a great deal!!

Smokey's has em and the cheapest price too!! But then again not sure if they updated their website since they changed the blanks this year.

Yes, they did. But I believe they stopped making that particular rod last year. There should still be plenty of them floating around the tackle shops though.

Yes we do have a 6'9" Premier Musky rod this year but, it comes in an XHeavy action and the warranty now is 5 years.

I'm currently building a rod for Mainly Muskie guide service that uses that St.Criox extra heavy blank. St. Criox messed up and sent me 2 of the blanks that specifics are below.

2M69XHF 6'9" 1 36-80 lb. 3-8 oz. XH FAST Musky-Hvy. Jerkbait/SW . 655 10.5 4.7 oz

Let me know if you want me to build it out for you. It is a great Bull Dawg rod or heavy bait rod.

I currently use the PM69XHF rod, and Im quite satisfied with it, I used to have the PM6HF. I use it only for jerkbaits and heavy gliders (and bulldawgs, but I dont fish those much).
The new series also have new handles (slimmer, a little better to palm a fullsize reel and the front handle is halfwells now, fullwells in last year models) There are 2 downsides with it 1. The hookhanger is to small, opposed to the old ones that I felt were to big. 2 and the finnish is glossier, I liked better the semi matt/semi gloss old look.
I dont have any esperience with last years 69H rod, so I cant compare them.

That is true about the blank. It is now a painted blank Black with a light pearl flake to give is a little shine, but I like it.
