I know I have many questions, but as a newbie I just need your experience.
I have a 2000 Lund Angler 1700 SS with a 2001 Yamaha 100hp 4-stroke (F100) The Full throttle operating range is 5,000-6,000rpm I do not know the current WOT rpms.
It has a white aluminum prop with the markings 6E5 17K Y-3
I am looking for a new prop and would like some suggestions. I searched the forums, but I think that made me more confused.
I am looking for a reliable prop becaue I plan to fish river, small lakes and big lakes.
I might want to pull some water toys for the kids, but propable not skiers.
Thanks in advance. Once i learn something I will be glad to share, but right now the learning curve is steep enough for me.

Before I can offer any options, is it possible for you to obtain your WOT with your normal load? Also, what type of boat?

Lastly, how does the prop you have on there now perform in terms of Hole shot, cornering, speed, handling, etc? What are you looking for in your boat that you would like to improve?

All of these factors come into play, along with your pocketbook (unless you have an unlimited budget..) If you can answer these questions, it would greatly help.

Hi Pcr,

I have the same exact motor 2001 and everything I'm running a 13 1/4" x 17pitch prop. I should cost about 120.00 with new hub.
