Does anyone know once a female becomes ripe...how long does it take before she drops her eggs?

I had the same question, specifically wondering if they would wait for the moon phase to drop the eggs or whether they spawn immediately when water temps become condusive. We were discussing the thing in light of southern musky strains and their spawning because at times temps could be good way early in the season, and a big gap exist between predator and prey egg drop due to the temps flatlining at certain values in the spring.
