Location: Marshfield, WI | Hi,
I started getting my baits ready for the season and came across my 6" phantoms and baby depth raiders. I have had great action on both. Problem is, I have had lots of problems hooking fish. Is there anything I can do to increase my hookups? Would bigger hooks work? If so, what size and should I use three hooks or do some people only use two(for the baby DR)? And yes, my hooks are sharp.
Thanks for your help,
Krishna |

Location: Marshfield, WI | I do that to all my baits with hard bodies. Does it help to T hooks on soft bodies, like bulldawgs? I read somewhere of someone replacing the hooks on baby DRs to a bigger hook and the extra weight gets the bait to suspend on the pause. I'll mess around w/ that once the weather gets nicer.

What size hooks did you put on and did you do front and rear hook hangers?
Thanks,
